What you get
The bot's messages, in your language, for every group that chooses it.
What you need
A text editor and your language.
No account. No tools to install. No git.
How it works
- Download the English files from the list below. Your language's code and plural forms are in the list after that.
- Translate the text after each
=. Leave everything before it alone. - Keep every
{ $... }and{ -... }exactly as it is, such as{ $user }and{ -product }. The bot fills them in. - Plurals: give each form your language uses. English has
oneandother; yours may have more. - One line is not yours to translate:
reason-serious-violation. WardForth decides that wording for each language. - Paste each file's text into an email to support@wardforth.com, with a line naming the file above it. One file per email is fine. Tell us the language.
No attachments: we don't open them. Don't paste messages from a real group, not as context and not as an example.
The English files
Plain text files. They open in any editor.

Your language's code and plural forms
The code is the two-letter ISO 639-1 code that Telegram sends for the language. WardForth accepts the 183 codes below. The plural forms are the categories the catalog check expects from the language, from Unicode CLDR. A dash means our tools don't know that language's plural forms yet: write to us before you start.

What happens next
A reviewer who speaks your language reads every line. We fix what the checks catch and ask you about the rest. When the review is done, the next release speaks your language, and the group owner picks it in /settings language.
Until a reviewer has read it, the owner is told the language is still a draft. Members are not.
Your words, your rights Coming
What you give WardForth when you send a translation, and what you keep, is not decided yet. Until it is, no translation can go live.
